Our children’s book has officially launched! Jose & I are so excited for our children’s book to be out in the world. It’s so surreal that the story we have created can now be read to the kiddos in your life. We Belong To Each Other is the story of bringing Grace, our first sheep, home to our farm. At first, Grace feels as if she doesn’t belong because she is the only sheep at White Cottage Farm. But as she experiences the love of the other animals and of the kind man and woman and their baby, she begins to feel safe in her new home and recognizes that God provided her with a loving family.
I’m so happy that our book is launching at this time of year, it is the perfect story to kick off spring and really bring us out of winter and into the joys of spring. We Belong To Each Other would also be a great gift for baby showers and adoption celebrations, birthdays, Gotcha Days, and weddings of blended families. With Easter coming up here soon it would be a great addition to Easter baskets!
We love that the book is filled with a variety of messages and things you can discuss with your children beyond the written story. It talks about bringing Grace to our farm and her feeling like she doesn’t belong, but throughout the story she learns that families don’t have to look the same, a family is anywhere that love is.
