President Trump said he wants to postpone the next Group of Seven nations meeting until September, and is looking to include additional countries.
Mr. Trump told reporters traveling on Air Force One Saturday that he was planning to delay the meeting.
He had been seeking to restore an in-person event in Washington in June after it had been transformed into a virtual gathering due to the coronavirus pandemic.
