Style Scouting: Vol. 32

Hello friends – Happy weekend.

Thanks for stopping by for this weeks Style Scouting where I share what’s up in my life and the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Did you realize Monday is March 1st! Spring is only 3 weeks away! The countdown is on.

Coming up on the blog, I will be sharing ideas on how I am transitioning to Spring decor.

On the Blog This Week:

Decorator Secret Why you should give a name to your decorating style

You may have missed:

Ed and I spent the weekend with our daughters to help celebrate our youngest’s 31st birthday. It has been a rainy weekend so far, but we are still having fun as both our daughters live in the same town, so we get to see all of them in one visit.

We have to get in as many visits as we can until June when Zoe, and her mom and dad will be moving to California. 🙁 Staying positive and thankful for apps like Facetime, Skype and Zoom that will become our new norm for weekly visits.

What I Found Inspiring This Week…

Decorating

This home tour. 🙂

Some say this is becoming a decorating trend – that it is relaxing, I don’t get it.

For my next furniture makeover, I want to try this DIY treatment. Or this one, but painted white.

I enjoyed this fascinating look into Shaker style.

A very pretty kitchen design portfolio.

Making spring happen early with these. They look so real. I bought then in white for my kitchen.

Eat

Making ground chicken for dinner never looked so good when made into these.

For chocolate lovers that can never get enough.

This makes the best omelettes. Fluffy and light that you can fill with anything you like.

Make

A clever idea to use up fabric scraps.

Life

Fun

One of my absolute favorite orchestral pieces made into a fun video. I first heard the piece in the movie Who’s Minding the Store when I was a teenager.

For all foodies out there. Did you know these food facts?
