Style Scouting: Vol. 24

The Christmas season is here. Have you taken the many home tours that were posted last week?

This week on the blog, I shared how I decorated my house for the season as part of The Housewalk Tour. Did you take it?

If not, you can see it: Christmas Home Tour

One of my favorite Christmas decorating ideas I came across on the tours last week was this mantel. It surely will even make the Grinch smile, so colorful and cheery!

Ed and I received our first Christmas card in the mail over the weekend. This is what was on it…. a sign of the times.

This exterior home makeover on a small Florida home is quite a dramatic change.

Dreaming of having a Christmas party like this.... maybe next year.

Drying these... the Christmas decorating “must have” for 2020.

Something you don’t see everyday.

I am usually not a fan of this home style, but this home makeover caught my attention.

I am going to make a few batches of these to give to my friends and neighbors. Wrapped in a pretty way they would make a nice edible gift.

These look so good, I could eat the photo of them. Same goes for these…. YUM!

I always wanted to make these. Maybe this will be the year.

This homemadehot chocolate is not Swiss Miss. Served with these – pure delish bliss!

These tealights – such an easy DIY. I am going to make one or two today.

I ordered this for my kitchen table. It was hard finding an oversize one in red.

This will make your house smell like Christmas.

Romance novels that are a lot like Hallmark Christmas movies. And these festive reads will get you ready for the holiday season.

The best good news in 2020.

That’s all for this week.

Coming up on the blog this week I am going to share why “once and done” never works for me. A Christmas DIY, as well as something I added to my kitchen that used to be in my foyer….and I LOVE it!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
