Simple Fall Mantel Two Ways

I’m back on this lovely Monday with a super simple fall look that I tried two ways on our mantel in the front living room. I have shown a few fall mantel looks this year [HERE] & they all involved a lot more items so I wanted to do a look just using garland as a fall specific item & nothing else…

Of course this garland was the one that sold out on our website in 5 minutes the other day [HERE], but you could use any fall garland that you have. This is actually two of the garlands layered on top of each other to give it more fullness. I truly just wanted to show here that you don’t need a ton of pumpkins or stems or other seasonal decor to get a beautiful fall look. This look also works great for fireplaces that have art hanging above it or a TV that you don’t want to block. A simple garland is all you need!

If you are using just a garland you are going to want it to look very full so layering is key. 2-3 strands of garland is ideal, but if you only have one, go with it! Pull it apart & fluff the garland to spread it all out & make it the fullest it can be for this simple look.

For the two looks I style the garland once with [this mirror] which gave it a classic fall look with the gold finish and the autumn leaves…

& I styled it another way with this rustic antique sign which gave it a cozy fall antique vibe that I love so much. Any fall sign, antique sign, or artwork would work for this as well…

It’s simple. It’s not groundbreaking, but I hope it shows that you can really achieve a beautiful fall look without going out and breaking the bank on fall decor. A simple garland or two will do the trick! You can see more of my fall looks [HERE] to get inspired. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and every single day to see what we are up to!
