So excited to jump on here this morning to chat about our patio planning with you. I plan on doing a bunch of these & sharing them with you as we are in the deep process of planning. I love putting together mood boards as I’m planning spaces in our home [& others] but for some reason I got away from that for a while & I’m really wanting to get back to the basics. So, let’s plan together! This is mood board number one and of course I will get into sharing where this space will be and more of that later, but for now… let’s dream. We have many outdoor spaces that we haven’t shared here on the blog before & many more that need a ton of work. This one I’m planning is quite exciting and I can’t wait to share more with you. Ok, so let’s plan. This first plan is an outdoor fireplace area that we are wanting to put on our side area. Imagine movie nights outside, cozy furniture around the fireplace that acts as our fire pit. Imagine movie nights out on the patio, an outdoor kitchen area, & a long outdoor dining area for all of us to gather with friends and family. Imagine slate, antique brass fixtures, earthy paint colors, lots of wood elements, & messy potted plants everywhere. Very French cottage & very white cottage farm. You can see the sources above along with our vision. I included an outdoor fireplace that I found from The Nester & through in some elements that we already have and already ordered.
