It’s time for the full reveal of our laundry room! I’ve been waiting patiently to share a reveal of our laundry room & we just recently finished up some final touches so here it is. But let’s not delay any longer & get into the full reveal of our butler pantry/laundry room!
We’ve wanted to renovate our butler pantry/laundry room since we moved in and in total it has been about a year-long project. We wanted this space to be super functional for our family, which is why we decided to combine our butler pantry and laundry room into one space. When you enter the room we have cupboards lining three of the walls and our Maytag® washer & dryer on one wall. This allows ample space for doing laundry and provides storage for all of our laundry, pantry, and cleaning supplies. For this post, I wanted to share photos of the full room & answer some of your questions about our laundry appliances!
What made you choose Maytag?
I did a bunch of research when it came to choosing our laundry appliances … I wanted something that was dependable, suitable for life on the farm, and that would fit the aesthetic of our home. Over the years I’ve learned that it is important for me to have appliances that are not only great quality, but that also match the cozy look & feel of our home. What are our exact laundry appliances?

What is my favorite feature of the washer?
There are many, but I would have to say my favorite feature is the Extra Power Button. Some stains dissolve best in hot water. Others in cold. With the push of a button, Maytag fights both in a single load. It takes the guesswork out of fighting stains for me and boosts stain-fighting performance on any wash cycle with the dual-temperature wash.
What is my favorite feature of the dryer?
For the dryer, I love both the Extra Power Button & the Advanced Moisture Sensing. The Extra Power button boosts drying power on any cycle by extending time, heat, and tumbling.* One push helps prevent under-drying by getting thick fabrics, pockets, and seams drier the first time. It also has Advanced Moisture Sensing, which uses multiple sensors to monitor inside moisture and air temperatures to help evenly dry loads. Basically, I know that my laundry is going to be dry every time & there is honestly nothing more satisfying than that!

Does it work well with tough messes?
Yes! I love the Deep Fill Option for the tough messes we encounter in everyday life here on the farm. The extra water works with robust wash action to effectively break down and rinse away everyday tough messes – it’s a necessity on the farm!
Do you enjoy the top load washer & dryer?
I love the top load washer & dryer! They work so well for this space and our family. We ultimately decided on these ones because they have a slightly larger capacity than the front load models, and have the Extra Power Button, Deep Fill Option, and Built-In Water Faucet to help us tackle even the dirtiest days on the farm.
