Why is epoxy used for restoring the wounded wood and also for waterproofing purposes?

I. Step 1

Sand, the surface of the wood plain, to make it smooth. The surface should be flat and free from uneven small spikes, ways, or voids.

II. Step 2

Extract all dirt from the plan with a sticky cloth. Any trash left on the design surface at this time will become permanently bonded to the surface when the epoxy is used.

III. Step 3

Lay newspapers or cloth below the project. Because once the epoxy got settle between the wounded spot, its hard to separate from the supreme surface.

IV. Step 4

Drain the epoxy resin-expert.com and hardener into a neat and dry container. Move slowly and carefully with a stick.

V. Step 5

Apply epoxy using a fiber brush. Start from the middle of the project surface. Always remember you have to start from the wet surface then move toward the dry area of the project.

VI. Step 6

Check for dry points or spots while painting. Penetrable woods can consume a large amount of epoxy while you work. Aim for a uniform layer.

VII. Step 7

Let the resin dry for 24 hours in a dust-free place.
