Butler’s Pantry Inspiration

We announced last week that we are starting renovations on our laundry room this year, if you missed it check out the announcement [HERE]. Our plan for the laundry room is to turn it into three spaces… we are going to turn this room into a butlers pantry, laundry room, and bathroom. We will have our pantry and laundry room as a combined room, but this project is going to take a while to complete… So in the mean time I wanted to share with you guys a few butler’s pantries and laundry rooms that are inspiring me for designing ours!

I love how clean and organized this butler’s pantry is [HERE]! The super high ceilings with the large shelves make the most use out of this space, without it feeling cluttered. I really like the combination of open shelves and cupboards because too many open shelves can start to feel a little cluttered. The windows truly makes the space feel so much more open and bright, I wish we could have a window in ours but its in the middle of our house so it would just be a window into another room in the house!

Our plan is to combine our butler’s pantry and laundry room so I was really excited to see that someone else had done this [HERE]. I love the sliding door to this room, which helps to free up so much space in the room … I might have to use that idea for ours! Using baskets is a great way to keep everything organized and not look messy every time you enter the room. My goal is that our pantry feels super organized and clean, so I think that baskets would be a great option for organizing everything!

The pantry is the perfect room to try out a fun pattern on the floors, HERE! I love how organized this layout is while simple. And then add the extra pop on the floor. I love the counter top appliances tucked away in the butler pantry like this one, something we are looking to do to clean up our kitchen counter tops.

I am obsessed with the organization in this one HERE … The small shelves that wrap around the top to store all of the jars & the large shelves along the bottom for larger items are perfect. The less space you have for stuff to gather, the less clutter you have. I love the inspiration this gives me for working with a smaller space. We plan to make our pantry & laundry room much smaller so I love seeing the way they used their space!

It’s a simple & clean white dream [HERE]!! You guys know how much I love white and I think they did all white so well in this laundry room. The different textures work well together & the space is used for its full capacity. I love the rod over the sink for hanging clothes to dry as well!

Another laundry room combined with a butlers pantry, here! I love that they utilize all of the space available for storage. The drawers and shelves are the perfect combination to store everything you need in a laundry room combined with your pantry. We plan to have a sink in ours and I think the counter space could be really helpful as well!

I think my favorite part of this pantry is all of the drawers, head to the source HERE! It creates such a clean look and seems like it would be so helpful for staying organized … Especially when you think about storing pantry & laundry room items in the same space! They mixed glass containers and baskets for storage which could be a really good tip for keeping open shelves clean and organized.

It is so fun seeing how other people style their butler’s pantry and laundry room, I can’t wait to make progress on ours to show you how we decide to style it. Being able to start from scratch with this room gives us so much freedom to create it exactly how we like to be the most functional for our family. Hope this helps inspire you for your space! Thank you for stopping by the blog today and every day. Xx Liz Marie
