Happy Friday, Friends! I hope each and every one of you had a great week! To be honest, I’ve been in a little rut this week. I’m not sure if it was the time change or the dreary weather here in Michigan, but it’s been hard for me to show up and be present on social media. However, on this sunny Friday, I am feeling much more hopeful and excited for new projects that we have coming up! The weather in Michigan is warming up and I am so excited to get outside and enjoy the spring weather. Here are some of my favorite things from the past week:
1.
It’s been a little over a week since our children’s book came out! It has been so special to see everyone receiving their books and sharing their thoughts. This week I found some really great splurge or save finds, including awesome slipcover sofa options! You can check out them out here [HERE].

We added beams to our library room! We decided to go with a faux wood beam, and if you have never experimented with installing beams in your home, I would definitely recommend going with faux wood. I styled our mantel this week to feel more spring-like! I mention in the post that I like to keep my styling pretty simple when using this mirror, so I wanted to show you a few different ways to style around your gold mirror for spring. You can see more on what I used here [HERE].

All this week we have been in the process of protecting one of most cherished investments, and that is our house! Last year we decided to replace our current siding with LP SmartSide. We recently touched on how important it is not to forget the things that keep your house safe and structurally sound, in addition to all the pretty we seek. I can’t wait to see the home finished, we have to thank The Kruse Brothers and LP Building Solutions for spending their week here with us! They have worked so diligently in the Michigan rain and wind and we are so grateful for their hard work. Stay tuned for more on our siding project!
