If this is your first time hearing about scroll stoppers, scroll stoppers are a small compilation of images I’ve found in the last week that completely stop me mid-scroll because of how stunning they are. For past week’s scroll stoppers, you can click on this link [HERE]. This week’s scroll stoppers have a little bit of a common theme. They all have muted color pallets that I enjoy using in our own home.

This sitting area [via @ourhummingbird.hollow and Pinterest] is so light and airy! I can imagine that the light that flows in from that wall of glass is an instant mood booster. I know it would be for me, at least. Mary expresses the same thing in her post.

This crisp and clean bathroom sink designed by @moorehousedesign is so special. The minimalistic approach is so refreshing. I love the mix of modern hardware with antique finds. Plaster blending is a technique that you don’t see often and is something that I would love to explore in the future.
3.
This tv room is so calming [via @decemberlunainteriors and @vtwonen]. I love the light wood tones and the light sofa. I get asked a lot about bare walls (vs. beadboard or shiplap) and this is a great example to show that it can be done and still look cozy!

In this post, @michelle_janeen expresses that this dining room area has always been a struggle for her to decorate. I feel this so strongly and agree with her that sometimes it feels like no matter how hard you try, you can never get a space exactly how you want it. Michelle chose to put a sofa in this room. I particularly love the muted color pallets in this space, and it feels cottage-like but also like it would fit perfectly on the coast of California as well.

I have been a fan of @chrislovesjulia for a while now. The renovations in their home are so special; having a cottage feel with touches of modern throughout. As I’m sure you have noticed by now from my past scroll stoppers, wallpaper has been on my mind. This little nook in their new master bathroom is such a creative design.
What do you think of these muted color pallets that I have chosen as my 5 scroll stoppers this week? Have you started saving your own photos for inspiration? One way that is quick and easy on Instagram is to use the save photo option on a photo. It also helps you see more of that person as you are scrolling.
Do you also enjoy using these earth tones when making decorating decisions? Let me know on Facebook or Instagram! Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
